Care instructions for jersey textiles (cotton, modal, elastane)
1. Wash - gentle & gentle
A gentle cycle at 30°C is ideal for jersey made from cotton, modal or blended fabrics. It protects the fibers and maintains their shape.
- Modal: best with a low spin speed (max. 900 rpm) and
liquid mild detergent. - Cotton: also wash on a gentle program - as cotton is light
tends to shrink, a low temperature is recommended. - Elastane: sensitive to heat, so wash and dry at a maximum of 40 °C
Avoid bleach.
2. Detergent & additional care
Use liquid mild detergent without bleach and without fabric softener
To protect fibers and elasticity.
For colored modal parts, we recommend a color detergent that increases the brilliance
which preserves colors longer.
3. Drying - air dry is the key
It is better to avoid the dryer, especially with elastane blends, as heat affects the elasticity. It is best to air dry the shirts lying flat or on a hanger, preferably in the shade to prevent fading.
4. Iron - carefully & at a low temperature
For printed or patterned items or items containing elastane, always iron at a low temperature - a cotton cloth provides additional protection. Modal is naturally wrinkle-resistant - it is usually enough to air the shirt briefly; If necessary, iron gently and at low heat.
5. Storage – enjoy your favorite piece for longer
It is best to store your jersey shirts clean and dry, folded in an airy wardrobe. Avoid direct sunlight to protect colors. This means they not only stay in shape and are colorful, but also accompany you reliably in everyday life - with the casual elegance that defines FYNCH HATTON.
